Whole Branzino

Details

  • Number of servings: 4 (1 per 1lb fish)

  • Cook time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 branzini

  • 1 stick (4 ounces) butter

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon chopped capers

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsely

  • 1 lemon

  • 4 rosemary sprigs

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 425.

  2. Melt the butter in a small bowl.

  3. Mix the butter, lemon juice, capers, and parsely, and season with salt.

  4. Lay the branzini on their sides in a baking dish.

  5. Fill each branzino with sauce, two lemon rounds, and a rosemary sprig.

  6. Lightly season the outside of the branzini with leftover sauce and salt.

  7. Place in oven, bake for 10-15 minutes (or until each fish begins to flake).

Notes

Unless you are comfortable cleaning and descaling the fish, ask to have the fish prepared when purchasing it.
