Chicken Bake with Stuffing

Details

  • Number of servings: 4-8

  • Cook time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 4-6 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)

  • (optional) Swiss cheese slices

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 1/4 cup white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)

  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)

  • 1 1/2 cups stuffing mix or breadcrumbs

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a baking dish.

  3. (Optional) Layer chicken with cheese.

  4. In a small bowl, combine white wine and cream of chicken soup.

  5. Pour mixture over chicken breasts.

  6. Mix the melted butter with the stuffing mix (or breadcrumbs).

  7. Layer mixture on top.

  8. Cook for 40-55 minutes (depending on chicken size).

Notes

  • Cream of Mushroom soup may be substituted for Cream of Chicken.

  • Red wine may be used instead of white for a different flavor.
